Yoga - Peace of MindYoga is also one of the most popular contemporary term. With the extensive use of modern technological equipments, it has become difficult to maintain a balanced body. The science of Yoga is gaining popularity because of it aims at maintaining the natural balance of body. It revitalises the organs and tissues by its different exercises and training programs. It regenuvates the energy levels of body and it becomes again like a ball - bouncing and full of energy.

Yoga is a science focusing on meditation as a path to self knowledge and liberation. Yoga is seen as a means to both physical and spiritual mastery. Yoga has become primarily associated with the practice of diffferent body postures or Asanas as exercise of Body.

Ayurveda - The science of Harmony of body, mind and soul

The science of Ayruveda developed around 600 BC in India. This system of medicine is based on the balance of body fluids - namely Vatta, Pitta and kapha. It aims at eliminating all the toxins of body so that patient can regain resistance and good health. From times memorial, this system of medicine is in use. In ancient India, the system of Ayurveda gained a lot of popularity and several famous people attained popularity by treating people by this system - Like Sushruta , Charak etc. These were some great scholars who gave lot to the science of Ayurveda.

Equable climate of Kerela is best suitable for using Ayurveda Therapy. Ayurveda operates on the concept that various materials of vegetable, animal and mineral origin have some medicinal value. The Ayurvedic medicaments are made from herbs or mixtures of herbs, either alone or in combination with minerals, metals and other ingredients of animal origin. Ayurveda uses simple therapies like Panchkarma which is a collection of purification techniques that are used to treat different disorders and for a periodic cleansing of body. A course of Panchkarma includes a short term dietary prescription, massage, herbs and may include purgatives, sweat baths, medicated baths and nasal cleaning. Ayurvedic massage is genearlly used for various age related problems. These aim at improving body circulation of fluids, pain relief, stress relief, better sleep, flexibility, emotional benefits, to relax soothe pain, to relax stiff muscles and to reduce arithritis. This process simply aims at loosening of toxins from deep seated tissues and joints and eliminating them through natural toxin - removal process of body.
