The Great Himalyas –
Abode of Snow – have attracted trekkers, mountaineers,
pilgrims and ascetics and tourists from thousands of years.
It is one of the most searched after tourist destination in
the world. It also encloses numerous pilgrim centers for hindus
like Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Gangotri. The Amarnath
pilgrimage in Kashmir and hemis in Ladakh is also very popular.
These are the most sacred and revered mountain ranges in the
world considered as abode of Kailash – Lord Shiva according
to Hindu mythology. Since times immemorial its rugged heights
crowned with snow and vast glaciers has attracted man to put
his courage and determination against its sky touching peaks.
Below the snowline at 17000 feet’s, nature appears
to relent from the austere magnificence of the heights and
creates a different world of cascading waterfalls, lush green
valleys, beautiful meadows and variety of flora and fauna.
There are numerous small villages and people with their diverse
local customs, dances, folklore and architecture. There are
several pilgrimages for Buddhist people with beautiful monasteries
in the regions of Shimla and regions of Ladakh.
Day 1 – Delhi
Arrival at Delhi airport, welcome by staff and transfer to
hotel for Rest
Day 2 – Shimla
After breakfast drive to Shimla, City visit in the evening
– Jakhu Temple, Sankat Mochan temple and famous shopping
place – The Mall Road and the Ridge.

Day 3 – Shimla
Full day visit of small villages like Chail, Kufri and Naldehra

Day 4 – Shimla – Manali ( 7 hrs drive –
280 kms )
Visit Manali in the evening, Night at Hotel
Day 5 – Manali
Morning proceed to city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple,
Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery and Vashisht Village. Afternoon
free for your own interest activities. A half -day is for
tour of Naggar Castle and local Bazaar, Ping. Return to the
hotel Dinner & overnight stay
Day 6 – Manali – Rohtang Pas
After breakfast, enjoy excursion to Rohtang Pass - Situated
at an altitude of 3979 meters above sea level offers a wide
panoramic view of the mountains where you can also witness
Snow. Later in the noon return to the hotel. Rest of the day
is free for own activities. Dinner & Overnight in the
hotel.
Day 7 – Manali – Kullu
After Breakfast proceed to Kullu via Manikaran the region
which has the world’s hottest sulphur spring and is
a pilgrimage for hindus and Sikhs. Return to Kullu, city visit
in the evening with world famous Shawl making Industry.
Day 8 – Kullu – Dharamshala
After Breakfast drive to Dharamshala – Visit Buddhist
monastries and experience the peaceful life of Buddhist people
by visiting Dharamshala
Night at Hotel
Day 9 – Dharamshala – Mc Leodganj
Visit city – Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and
Tibetan Monastery.
Day 10 – Mc Leodganj – Dalhousie
After Breakfast proceed to Dalhousie – It is a small
town with beautiful Buddhist temples and monastries. Experience
sunset at its best in the evening midst Snowclad Mountains.
Night at Hotel
Day 11- Dalhousie
Visit Panch Pul (Five Bridges), Fresh water Springs and other
places as per your interest.
Night at Hotel
Day 12 – Dalhousie
Visit places around Dalhousie like Khajjar and Chamba town.
Day 13 – Dalhousie – Amritsar
After breakfast drive for Amritsar – the city of world
famous Golden temple – the most important Sikh temple
in India.
Night at Hotel
Day 14 – Amritsar – Delhi
After Breakfast drive to Delhi
