Desert Circuit Rajasthan - 12 days - 11 nights

Day 1 – Arrival at Delhi international Airport, Meet and assistance by staff, transfer to hotel for rest.

Day 2 – Delhi – Nawalgarh

After breakfast, drive to Nawalgarh by Road, 6 hrs journey. Arriving Nawalgarh by lunch time – after lunch transfer to hotel for rest. Visit Nawalgarh in the evening by the help of local guide – Some most charming havelis of Shekhawati Region like Poddar Haveli, Chhevaria haveli etc.

Day 3 – Nawalgarh

Visit Nawalgarh and other small villages around Nawalgarh to experience the basis essence of real Rajasthani culture. In the evening get accustomed to the horses for Horse safari.

Day 4 – Nawalgarh – Mandawa ( Horse safari begins )

Proceed to Mandawa after breakfast, a principal region world famous for its historical havelis with beautiful fresco paintings on the walls. It has some most beautiful havelis in the region like Murmaria Haveli, Nevatia Haveli, Goenka Haveli etc. Enjoy dinner in Castle Mandawa with live performances from local artists.

Day 5 – Mandawa – Mehansar

Ride to Mahensar with regular intervals for refreshments and lunch.

Mahensar was founded in mid 18th century. It is one of less visited towns of Shekhavati, but definitely one of the most rewarding. Sone Chandi ki Haveli (‘Mansion of Gold and Silver’). Which belonged to the Poddar family of jewelers, has the finest frescoes in Shekhavati. Don’t miss the frieze of the battle scene, as delicate as a miniature painting. The Raghunath Temple with beautiful paintings resembling the Bikaner school of art are worth seeing.

Day 6 – Mahensar – Alsisar

Ride from Mehansar Fort to Alsisar.
The safari moves in the direction of one of the most arid regions of the Thar Desert with sand dunes and brackish water. Passing by the villages of Bissau and Gangiasar the riders reach Alsisar.

Visit Alsisar and other villages nearby.

Day 8 – Alsisar – Bissau

The Safari Moves from Alsisar to Bissau by visiting different regions and desert tracts in the region.

Day 9 – Bissau – Bikaner ( By car 5 hrs drive )

After Breakfast , proceed to Bikaner by car. Bikaner is one of the most searched of city of Rajasthan famous for its delicious Bhujia and Rasgullas. The city offers variety of things to the visitors. Fort Junagarh, Lalgarh palace, Laxmi niwas palace are worth visiting. Evening visit to Deshnok village – world famous for its Rat Temple dedicated to Godess Karnimata is marvel in present age.

Day 10 – Bikaner – Jaisalmer

After Breakfast drive to Jaisalmer – the Golden city with live history in the boundaries of its living fort with a population of 40000 people inside. The city gives a relax to the visitors – who can enjoy most tranquile moments in the Desert region of Thar.
City has lot to offer – Sonar Fort, Bada Bagh, Ludrawa Jain Temples, Amarsagar, and Kuldhara.

Visit Jaisalmer and its monuments

Day 12 – Jaisalmer – Delhi

Return to Delhi by Night train, assistance and transfer to Hotel by car. Visit Delhi – The capital city of India. After dinner departure at Airport as per flight schedule.
